Main arena events 2011
Mere Down Falconry will present a display of speed and grace by birds of prey, plus a chance to study the birds at close quarters at their static display.
- Rockwood Dog Display Team will perform in the main arena with a display of breathtaking canine wizardry from the stars of TV & Film.
Corsley Show Sports
Main arena events begin at 10.30am with the popular Children’s Sports to get pulses racing for kids aged five – 13 plus a toddler race. This year we are also planning a fun tug-of-war so if you can muster a team of eight please get in contact.
Rounding off the main arena events will be the parade of vintage vehicles, an enduring show favourite.
OTHER ATTRACTIONS – All Day - Smiley the Happy Train, Craft and Food Marquee, Vintage Vehicles, Farmers Market, Fun Fair, Open Air Trade Market, Laser Clay Shoot & Sahara Sisters Belly Dancers, The Horse & Pony Show, Dog Show, trade stands and of course the breath-taking display of excellence on show in the Horticulture and Craft Tent all add to the enjoyment of the day.
